The Billy Graham Library highlights the life and legacies of this world-famous evangelist and Pastor. It is located in a 40,000 square-foot land in Charlotte, North Carolina. Designed as a dairy barn, it resembles the setting in which he grew up in. Main attractions include an exhibit of memorabilia of the Pastor’s journey, the Graham Family’s home, an attic bookstore, and a memorial prayer garden.
Having gained popularity in the 1940s, he is considered as one of the most influential Christian leaders of the 20th century. Keepsakes from his life as a minister, a loving family man and a friend to many of his colleagues are shared to the public through this library.
Here, guests can get a good glimpse of his adventures as he encountered many twists and turns in his journey as an evangelist all over the world. Enjoy looking at photos and some of his memorable personal belongings. Explore interactive kiosks and watch multimedia presentations that tell inspiring Christian stories.
The Memorial Prayer Garden is the burial site of the spouses Billy and Ruth Graham together with their long-time crusade co-workers George Beverly Shea and Cliff Barrows.
Many guests come here for some quiet time of prayer as they reflect on the moving story, works and legacies of Billy Graham.
