Billy Graham Library
The Billy Graham Library highlights the life and legacies of this world-famous evangelist and Pastor. It is located in a 40,000 square-foot land in Charlotte, North Carolina. Designed as a dairy barn, it resembles the setting in which he grew up in. Main attractions include an exhibit of memorabilia of the Pastor’s journey, the Graham Family’s home, an attic bookstore, and a memorial prayer garden. Click here to go back to the home page

HERE ARE THE TOP 5 THINGS TO DO AT THE BILLY GRAHAM LIBRARY
1. Browse through galleries that feature his life and works.
Having gained popularity in the 1940s, he is considered as one of the most influential Christian leaders of the 20th century. Keepsakes from his life as a minister, a loving family man and a friend to many of his colleagues are shared to the public through this library.
Here, guests can get a good glimpse of his adventures as he encountered many twists and turns in his journey as an evangelist all over the world. Enjoy looking at photos and some of his memorable personal belongings. Explore interactive kiosks and watch multimedia presentations that tell inspiring Christian stories.
2. Have an intimate look at the Grahams’ family home.
Tour around the home where he lived with his parents and three siblings from the age of 9 until he left for college. Most furniture, appliances, and furnishings are original. The house is beautifully preserved with 80 percent of the original materials still standing strong and elegant. The place gives the guests a deeper understanding of his roots.
3. Buy some Christian classics!
Though only open on Saturdays, this bookstore is definitely worth checking out. It is named after Billy Graham’s wife, Ruth. She is an outstanding author of many classic Christian books as well as a world evangelist who worked hand-in-hand with her husband throughout many decades. Aside from books, guests can also buy DVDs of inspiring sermons, CDs of gospel and worship music, collection items, gifts, home decorations, and library apparels.
4. Enjoy the dairy bar.
With its unique barn ambiance and quaint vibe, kids and kids at heart are sure to enjoy dining here. Aside from dairy foods and beverages such as milkshakes and ice creams, they also offer BBQ, frank hot dogs, freshly baked cookies, and pound cake, and Mommy Graham’s special chicken salad.
5. Have a moment of prayer and reflection.

The Billy Graham Library is open from Mondays to Saturdays from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM. It can be explored for about one and a half to two hours. However, guests are welcome to stay longer if they want. There is a Pet Area just outside the gatehouse and parking is also free even for RVs and buses. Admission is absolutely free for both adults and kids. There is a donation box for anyone who wishes to contribute.
