Dr. Grant Lisetor
Dr. Grant had a tumultuous upbringing. His family was financially impoverished to the point that they survived on food stamps and 19 cent hamburgers from McDonalds. The family of 6 lived in a one-bedroom trailer with a large hole in the bathroom floor and thousands of cockroaches as fellow occupants. Dr. Grant was a gifted student and gifted wrestler, both of which played a role in his future as a chiropractor. Dr. Grant had a wrestling injury his junior year of high school. With the help of state Medicaid, he saw several specialists–all to no avail. While dealing with this injury he was invited to a program that would allow him to attend a state college in place of his senior year of high school.
He got his own apartment, worked a third shift job as a frozen food manager at a grocery store, and attended college full-time during what would have been his senior year of high school. It was during this time that a friend suggested he seek out chiropractic care for his chronic injury. He paid for his chiropractic care himself, and after just a few visits it had helped more than any of the other specialty treatment he had tried. After six months of care the injury was completely healed. This experience led him to transfer to Life University in Atlanta, Georgia, where he completed his undergraduate degree in nutrition then moved forward to complete his doctorate in chiropractic.
Dr. Grant and his wife Sam have two boys. The youngest was born with a rare disease known as Hirschsprung’s. Dr. Grant has always had a passion for helping children, but after watching his son deal with this condition it challenged and motivated him to become the best pediatric chiropractor – not just in Charlotte, or the southeast but the best pediatric chiropractor ever
Dr. Grant enjoys hiking, camping, ju jitsu with his children, and golf, although he is admittedly a terrible golfer.
So far, in his post-graduate education journey, Dr. Grant has achieved the following accolades:
